Friday Favorites: June 2025 Week 2
Hello!
It’s been a wonderful week! Both boys have enjoyed their time at Cincinnati Zoo Camp and I’ve had the opportunity to do some of my volunteer work with the animal excellence team in person while they were at camp. Grant has also had a lot of positive events at work and we’re so grateful for his team!
Thank you to Andrea from Momfessionals and Erika from A Little Bit of Everything for hosting this sweet link party! 💛 I love linking up for this online event and it’s a good motivator for me to keep up with my gratitude journey and documenting so many favorite things throughout the year!
1. Adding in a few from last week. Both boys are still at the age where they want to help with anything I’m doing… so vacuuming and cleaning baseboards became a game for three of us. 😂
2. We walked down to play tennis at a local public court and then stopped in for an iced latte and chocolate “bugs” as a treat before the uphill hike home.3. This small backyard pool has been a lifesaver already. Even if keeping dirt out of it has become one of my biggest daily tasks.
4. Friday creemees will always be a summer favorite for me!
5. We had a wonderful picnic at Devou last weekend. It’s my favorite view of the Cincinnati skyline and the boys enjoyed the playground and just looking out over the city.
6. Arnis’ camp is half day so he and I have enjoyed some bonding time running errands and having fun at the zoo. The train is always a must when you’re five or 34!
7. I’m very proud of my sandwich game for their lunches this week! It’s so rewarding to hear them excitedly tell me what animals were in the lunch boxes!
8. We’re so fortunate that spending time with these beautiful animals is so normal for our kids that they’re just as interested in building rock piles as they are at watching the giraffes.
That’s all for today. Arnis has one more day of camp and then Jamie has a medical procedure today so he’ll go for a second week later this summer.
I hope that you have a wonderful Friday!!!!
💛Jessie
