Spring Break Recap Part 2: The Middle
Hello,
During the majority of spring break this year we stayed with my Aunt and Uncle in Port St Lucie and we’re able to spend quality time with them while also having some beautiful adventures for us and the kids involving friends of my Aunt who are registered and help with the Galapagos Tortoises by running a satellite location for them, going to the beach, spending time at the oceanographic center, and a day trip up to Disney springs to visit the T-Rex cafe.
Everything was absolutely amazing though spending time with the tortoises was probably my personal favorite. The boys all voted that they loved the beach the best! 🥰
The tortoises were so sweet and it was really awesome to have them “finch” by us rubbing their necks after their snacks. We took a quick trip to the beach on Tuesday to just “dip our toes” which meant Al three of my guys got soaked! 🤪
Jamie loved just looking out the window and watching the water and the palm trees as we drove.
He also really loved the next day playing in the sand. Arnis was just constantly in the waves chasing them and being chased in return. He made a young friend very quickly and so I didn’t take a ton of pictures to respect their privacy.
Sulev is the best dad and just kept joining them wherever they wanted to go to ensure that they had fun and independence but stayed safe.
The oceanographic center was really inspiring. I have to download the photos from my camera as they’re so pretty with all the mangroves and a pelican who decided Arnis was pretty fun to watch.
And of course you can’t go to Florida without a little Disney magic. 🥰
Arnis really enjoyed taking photos here as well and I’m looking forward to developing those!
That’s all for Tuesday through Friday. I’ll either have to edit this post later with camera photos or do an in-depth of each location as time goes on. I haven’t decided since writing these posts is part of my morning quiet time and I’m not really into bringing out my computer during these moments.
💛Jess
