Hello!
We finally have some sunshine! π Yesterday felt so nice to get outside and soak in that wonderful vitamin D! As usual, I’m linking up with Andrea from Momfessionals and Erika from A Little Bit of Everything to share some favorites and gratitude from this week! π₯°

1. Wild Kratts Live Show:
If you have preschool/early elementary kids there’s a chance you’ve already been introduced to the fantastic show that is Wild Kratts. Two brothers, Chris and Martin, travel the world saving animals from the evil villains. It’s kinda like Captain Planet meets Crocodile Hunter and we LOVE it! They’re doing a live tour again this year and my dad asked to take Jamie for their Birthdays since there would be a stop in Cincinnati at the perfect time. (Jamie’s is in a week.) They both had a blast and dad said it was a 10/10 would do again!
2. Saturday camp out.
Arnis has been a little nervous when the “pack” isn’t together, so he asked to make a campsite next to my bed while Sulev was at Army training this past weekend and it was adorable and so much fun! This was especially true as “Crocky” and “Large Mouth”, his giant stuffies, got to join the fun.
3. Frittata Bites
Sulev is an amazing cook and so he made these this week when I was having a rough evening and needed a quiet moment. It was frittatas with goat cheese, roasted red pepper, zucchini, and shallots. π
4. Lemon Blueberry Cake
I made a lemon and blueberry cake for my dad and he LOVED it! The boys loved the dinosaur shape! π
5. Couscous bowls
This has become our Monday staple of grilled veggies with couscous and roasted chickpeas. Top it with some feta and Trader Joe’s goddess dressing and it’s the bees knees! π
6. British Army Jacket
I’m making another dent in decluttering all the stuff that Sulev and I accumulated after 11 moves with the Army and found this gem before I headed out to do a day of cutting down bamboo for the elephants and rhinos at the zoo. (They love the fresh options and bamboo maintains its leaves through the winter.) This coat kept me warm, was perfect for heavier work, and just made me happy to use. Sulev got it during an exchange program with the British Army about a decade ago and it’s been in storage since. I’m so happy to get to put things to better use than sitting in a storage tub! π
7. Dustin Bear
The boys name all their stuffies and Dustin is a favorite. He’s come along to school all week and has stayed safe in the car with his seat belt! π₯°
That’s all for today! I love this post every week because it starts off my Friday on such a high, remembering all the fun and sweet things that happened in just the past week! π₯°
We've had sunshine too and I am loving it!
