Friday Favorites February Week 4

 Hello,

Another Friday and I love participating in this post because of the focus on finding the positive and sharing gratitude. It can be a really rough week and there’s still always things and people that are a favorite.

Thank you to Andrea from Momfessionals and Erika from A Little Bit of Everything for hosting this sweet link party every Friday! 💛 This has really helped me on my gratitude goal and also on taking pictures of all these wonderful things to remember and love!

#1: My Two Boys

I got home just under a week ago and my boys have been the absolute sweetest. Full of extra kisses and cuddles. There has definitely been a lot of snuggling and watching Bluey and I was here for the experience. 💛 (Grant too! 💛)

#2: Loose and soft clothing

If you are looking for a soft and loose dress… look no further, target has a long sleeve maxi that has been incredibly comfortable and can easily feel like a giant nightgown from the t-shirt material or be dressy enough to go to church. I don’t have a picture of me wearing it, but if I get one later this week, I’ll update then.

3. Sunlight

It has been beautiful this week and so sitting out in a comfy chair, taking in a little vitamin D has been so beneficial. It’s hard to not be very mobile so being outside helped. And it doesn’t hurt that the boys were fully onboard with being outside for and hour or two after school every day. ☀️

4. Cats

Weather it was my cat being super snuggly or Lisa’s cat watching his favorite TV show, it’s just been a cute distraction.

#5: Survivor Premier

If you haven’t seen it, you need to check this out. Quite possibly my favorite episode of all time and Eva’s story spoke to my soul this week as well as seeing the genuine kindness and humanity from Joe and Kyle. 10/10 recommend and looking forward to watching the rest of the season with my little guys. (Fun fact: Jamie LOVES survivor and won’t jump into a pool unless someone shouts “survivors ready, Go!”)

#6 When Things Don’t Go Your Way by Haemin Sunim

I was recommended this and checked it out of the library as an audiobook. I really appreciate the message of calm, gratitude, and acceptance. I’m only partway through, but what I’ve heard so far it worth checking out.

Thank you so much for everyone who has helped, prayed, and loved on our family this past week. I am forever grateful!!!

💛Jess
