Weekend Fun: Poop Bingo

 Hello,

This weekend was a pretty cold one and it’s only gotten colder (temps with wind chill dropping down below -10). That said we had a mostly indoor weekend, we watched a few shows and movies, we celebrated MLK with Sesame Street, and we played some board games!

Poop Bingo

A new one from my wonderful friend Nicole was Poop Bingo! Let me tell you it was a hit! The title and content is funny but scientifically accurate, good learning for our hikes, and easy to play for a four and six year old. Grant and I love board games and Arnis has adopted that love. It’s not quite Jamie’s thing yet but he’s trying to get into it. 

Overall 10/10 recommend and a super fun way to spend some family time! 

That’s all for today, despite some pretty arctic temps, we’re heading into school for the boys this morning. Grant will stay home to maintain the pipes so they don’t freeze… the joys of 108 year old house in a more southern location. 😉

Friday Favorites: February week 3

 Hello! This has been quite the week, but there is so much to be grateful for. It’s going to get a bit deep and frankly I need to not process a lot for a little while and just focus on gratitude so that I can deal with the grief in my own way and time. Friday Favorites: February week 1

 Hello, It felt like this week was sprinting and I blinked and it’s already Friday. It’s going to be a really fun day with a Valentine’s Day dance for the boys at lunch today and I get to be one of the chaperones! My kids are little so I think we’re still in the stage of wanting mom around and I probably won’t do this when they get older so I’m going to soak in all the delighted hugs and excitement while we’re in this phase of parenting. 🥰 Here are some other favorites from this week though.
