Top Five New Years resolutions

 Hello!


So we don’t really do formal/committed resolutions anymore, but it’s fun to think about all the little things that we want to do throughout the year so these are some fun/small/simple ideas. ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Drink a glass of water before every cup of coffee… I know my skin with thank me for this though it might require bladder training. ๐Ÿ˜‚
  2. Floss every night before bed… my dentist would be proud! 
  3. Do one “no spend week” a month where only food groceries are purchased.
  4. Send a letter/card to someone on our Christmas card list once a month.
  5. No rearranging decorations/furniture (outside of perishable stuff… I’m looking at you pumpkins) for three months after putting it up. ๐Ÿ˜ณ this will be my hardest yet I think as I love to rearrange everything every time Grant goes away and he’s going to travel quite a bit in the next few months. 

I want to put in silly fun things like learn to do a front handspring or actually dive into the pool once a month or dance in the kitchen while making dinner at least once a week… actually that last one is good we might do that, but I’m struggling to write them down as I feel as though I’m forcing a list rather than doing stuff I actually want to do. The card one will be a stretch for me as well, as I’m a hardcore introvert, though maybe just send them to my friends Nicole and Wella who would understand, I don’t get to talk to as often as I’d like, and they’re just beyond awesome people. 

Hmm, lots to contemplate!
