Weekly Highlights

 Hello,

This was such a beautiful week. The boys had their holiday spirit week at school which involved lots of dinosaur Christmas outfits (seriously Arnis wore four this week) and it was busy for Grant and myself as we navigated a slightly more hectic schedule for this week only. We are so grateful for the memories made and the people who have supported our family!

Sensory Santa at the Cincinnati Zoo is always fun but it was even better this year. We are so grateful that Santa takes this time so that our kids can see him together without being overwhelmed.

Mom’s birthday was this week and running errands, shopping, and getting lunch together was a favorite for sure. 🥰

Our first canine fur-baby Pepper was obsessed with Mr. ball and it was so sweet seeing Teddy take up the tradition this week. Playing with him in the backyard with her favorite toy made me reminisce so hard and miss our sweet girl while loving on our big boy.

Thank you so much to the adaptive swimming team at the Y. Seriously my best advice to new parents will always be to join your local Y as it is such a great setting and they work so hard to include everyone. The team here have a special place in heaven I’m sure for the love and time that they pour into our kids.

Hello, I’m going to try to keep up with this concept/challenge/link-up (seriously I need to figure out how to do that properly) from Mixandmatcama.com and alittlebitofeverythingblog.com for this year. It’s a once a month post about different things in each persons life and I love reading it on their blogs so it might be fun to look back on later in life about my own life. 🙂 I already shared my “resolutions” which are essentially these goals but here’s a recap a couple of weeks in of what is actually going to happen… I think. 1. Mailing a letter or card once a month to a friend I don’t talk to regularly. I still love this concept and it’s fun to try to keep connected with a couple of my sweet friends in a way that feels more personal but still doesn’t add too much to an already busy schedule.
