Saturday Highlights

 Hello!


Here are some highlights from the past week! 


Jamie gets out a few minutes before Leo so I’m able to get him set in the car before Leo comes out the door. We’ve been taking some pictures lately to pass the time and I love how sweet he is and what a good model! 🥰


I didn’t take any photos of the CREW holiday party but I totally took some photos from the elephant trek event space of the elephants. The family hers was outside and my girls Mai Thai and Schottzie were in one of the indoor yards. I love that they have such a nice space inside with water features and dirt floors (also makes it easy to “plant” trees inside for their amusement and dietary needs during the colder months). 

As I was heading out to get the boys one day I ran into Imani roaring which I’ve never seen her do before. Of course as soon as I grabbed out my phone to take a video she went full feline and gave me the cold shoulder! 😂


Tennis this week was a little tough from being a couple weeks out of practice but it was also really fun and Leo enjoyed taking pictures of Mom and big brother! 

We had a cold weather day off from school (rain the night before and then a sudden drop into the teens made for some Ivey conditions) so we made salt dough handprints as an indoor activity! 🥰

And what I’m sure will be a new favorite game for Grant as I as his white elephant gift exchange present from his work party! 😂

Hello, I’m going to try to keep up with this concept/challenge/link-up (seriously I need to figure out how to do that properly) from Mixandmatcama.com and alittlebitofeverythingblog.com for this year. It’s a once a month post about different things in each persons life and I love reading it on their blogs so it might be fun to look back on later in life about my own life. 🙂 I already shared my “resolutions” which are essentially these goals but here’s a recap a couple of weeks in of what is actually going to happen… I think. 1. Mailing a letter or card once a month to a friend I don’t talk to regularly. I still love this concept and it’s fun to try to keep connected with a couple of my sweet friends in a way that feels more personal but still doesn’t add too much to an already busy schedule.  Hey there! I'm Jess, a mom in Cincinnati Ohio, who is passionate about my family, doing my best to help the planet, and, hopefully, bringing a little positivity to the internet.
