A Kid Again Holiday Party

 Hello!


One of the most wonderful highs from this past weekend was attending the A Kid Again holiday party! This organization is for kids and their siblings who have life affecting medical diagnoses and we are grateful to them for giving so many wonderful family outings for us surrounded by people who get it and know how to help. I tear up a little with this one because it can be hard sometimes do to the “normal” events, though normal is totally overrated and usually not that much fun anyway. 😉 We are grateful and have enjoyed the events we have joined immensely.


The holiday party was a little crowded which can be daunting, but everyone was doing such a good job making it a sweet event for the kids and Jamie especially really loved meeting all the different people! Arnis, Leo has told us he would like to use his first name, was less sure about the costumes but fully enjoyed the sweets.


Meeting “Star Wars” was the first highlight! 🥰

Meeting the princesses was cool and all but showing them who came next was even better! Cinderella’s face was priceless! 😂

It was also very special that Santa left a bag with a present for each of the kids to take home before Christmas and they were thrilled at their robot dinosaur and Austrian it projector!!! Arnis jumped around the room shouting “robot dinosaur” and cuddled with it that night. 

Overall it was a wonderful time and again we are so grateful at having the opportunity to create some holiday magic with our kids. 🥰 10/10 recommend!!!

Hello, I’m going to try to keep up with this concept/challenge/link-up (seriously I need to figure out how to do that properly) from Mixandmatcama.com and alittlebitofeverythingblog.com for this year.
