Top 5: Disney Rides

 Happy Friday!

I’ve been on edge a little this week and so I’m going, mentally, to my happy place Disney World! 😉



Here are my top five rides, we haven’t been in a couple of years and so this may change when we make it back down to the happiest place on earth. 

5. Haunted Mansion - I really love how this one goes ALL in, even though I’m not usually into spooky, I love this ride. 

4. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train - this one would probably be higher up but alas the line…

3. Frozen (Epcot) - this ride is amazing, it’s fun, it’s themed, and we brought Jamie on it on one of his first trips. 

2. Pirates of the Caribbean - fun fact my first experience with this ride was Disney Paris in January, there was no wait, it was cold, and we just kept going around because it’s awesome.

1. Belle’s Enchanted Tales - in a surprise twist this attraction is mine and Grant’s favorite. We went through it when I was pregnant with Jamie and we’re shocked by how immersive the experience was. 10/10 recommend!!!

 Hello! This has been quite the week, but there is so much to be grateful for. It’s going to get a bit deep and frankly I need to not process a lot for a little while and just focus on gratitude so that I can deal with the grief in my own way and time. Let’s Look: How we work on our marriage

 Hello, I’m joining the party again this month, a big thank you to Shay from Mix and Match Mama  and Erika from A Little Bit of Everything  for setting this up and inviting us to share as well! 🥰 Grant and I are in a season of life that usually has our two little guys along for the ride. That means that we don’t have regular dinner dates or weekends away, but we find time that works in our schedule and season. 💛 1. Wednesday and Thursday Work Commute We are a one car family as we live in a city where parking isn’t always the easiest and we love the fact that it reduces our carbon impact and has the added bonus of allowing us to spend more time together. Grant takes public transportation to work Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, but on Wednesday and Thursday he works from a different location that doesn’t have an obvious route so I drive him between the kids drop off and heading over to the zoo. Let’s Look: Our Wellness Routines

 Hello, I’m linking up again this month to join  Shay from  Mix and Match Mama  and Erika from  A Little Bit of Everything ’s link party for “Let’s Look”. I love that these topics are a glimpse into our normal, everyday life and it’ll be so much fun to look back years from now and remember what we were up to! My wellness routine these days is a lot less singularly focused on sprints or gym time and a lot more of a holistic approach so here we go!  Mind 1. I do a lesson of Duolingo Spanish every evening as part of my quiet time to keep this skill up. I’ve always loved learning languages and even tested in the Army as having a strong aptitude for this, this feels right to me. (I already speak French and my Arabic is still there albeit a little rusty, but if I want to ever do sea turtle conservation work I feel like Spanish might be the way to go. 🙂) 2.
