Good News Thursday: Sam Bentley

One of my favorite people to follow when I was still looking through IG regularly was Sam Bentley. He does regular good news stories about conservation wins around the world (and might have an amazing accent while doing it 😉).

He posts a monthly video here and it's just really inspiring and a welcome dose of positivity as well as ideas on how we can carry these wins even further!

I'm a really big fan of including the successes in a topic that unfortunately has so many negatives and work to be done.

 Hey there! I'm Jess, a mom in Cincinnati Ohio, who is passionate about my family, doing my best to help the planet, and, hopefully, bringing a little positivity to the internet. Good News Thursday: Netflix Kids shows featuring conservation and ecological responsibility

 Good Morning! Both of my kids have about one to two hours of scheduled 'rest' time every day. This is my chance to do some chores that just aren't as safe or feasible with little helpers or frankly take a break myself so that I can remain patient and centered for them.  During this time, they can nap or look through books, we love I Spy, especially with letters or ocean animals, but sometimes when they're a little too excited and really need to be in separate rooms, I'll let Jamie watch a TV show while I'm trying to get Leo to sleep. (Leo just needs a little more than the average bear and while we've weaned off of 14-16 hours of sleep in a 24 hour period, he still needs minimum of 12 to be his happy self.) I've been pleasantly surprised to find that there are a lot of ecologically responsible kids shows on netflix and so here's a list of our favorites! 5.
